The Style Summit by Create & Cultivate

The second annual Style Summit by Create & Cultivate at The Galleria in Houston, TX, kicked off on Friday October 20th with an in-store Happy Hour at Saks Fifth Avenue, followed by a VIP dinner hosted at The Webster. On Saturday October 21st The Galleria hosted an all-day conference with panel discussions, beauty bars, and cocktails.

Happy hour was hosted in the shoe salon of Saks Fifth Avenue. The Webster hosted the In-store VIP dinner catered by Michelin star rated, Yautcha. Guests mixed-and-mingled, browsed merchandise, enjoyed a sit-down dinner and were gifted special gifts from select retailers.

Conference Speakers

The keynote speaker at this years Style Summit conference was outspoken activist Sophia Bush, the One Tree Hill star, offered nuggets of career wisdom and liberating style tips.

Three of our speakers created videos including interviews and highlighting the speakers’ journey to finding their Style Summit “looks”. The videos were shot on mall and the clothing from the speakers chosen looks were featured on-site at the conference as “shoppable” vignette. The videos were shared with Instagram and on Simon SAID, Simon's own lifestyle publication featuring content on culture, fashion, travel and technology.

The Shops at Crystals Signature Event

On November 2nd, The Shops at Crystals partnered with Vogue and GQ to host a luxurious evening of exclusive shopping for 90 VIP clients. The night began with a cocktail reception sponsored by Hakkasan Group which featured a once-in-a-lifetime shopping experience in the "Exclusive Finds" pop up shops. The pop up shops included 29 luxury brands featuring one-of-a-kind pieces including a $500k Richard Mille watch, a $350k Crocodile and Bobcat Stefano Ricci jacket and a $270k Sapphire and Diamond ring from Tiffany & Co.

Following the cocktail reception and shopping experience, event attendees enjoyed a champagne toast by Vogue and GQ representatives, and a multi-course meal prepared by CUCINA by Wolfgang Puck.

Once dinner wrapped up, guests were invited to a round of desserts, champagne and shopping before they retrieved their coveted custom-engraved giftboxes. Pop up shops custom-designed for this event, housed over $2 million worth of exclusive limited edition items from 29 of The Shops at Crystals best brands.

To showcase the featured one of a kind items throughout each stage of the event, digital look books displayed on 50 ipads were distributed to attendees during dinner.

The Galleria Luxe Event with PaperCity

The Luxe event was an exclusive event for PaperCity executives, luxury tenants' key leadership, select VIP shoppers and Houston area socialites. The event began with a cocktail party, followed by a four course dinner that concluded with a runway presentation by Neiman Marcus.

The cocktail hour models dressed in Bottega Veneta created an unexpected and impactful visual moment for all guests. The cocktail hour also included retailer vignettes from Céline, Valentino, Neiman Marcus,The Webster, and live models adorned in Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

The Westchester Luxe Event with Harper's Bazaar

This event catered to it's 70 attendees with a special cocktail welcome, opening remarks from Avril Graham, Harper Bazaar’s Fashion and Beauty Editor, followed by a seated lunch in the Neiman Marcus wing. An exclusive “Mystery Rose” Giveaway for the top spender gave each attendee a chance to win prizes from participating retailers. The winning rose with vintage key attached, was chosen by one lucky winner who received gifts worth over $1K from Neiman Marcus, Tiffany & Co. and Marc Cain.

Models wore looks provided by by Neiman Marcus and created a “wow” moment as guests arrived to the event. Guest enjoyed in-store exclusive experiences at Louis Vuitton, Stuart Weitzman, Neiman Marcus and Tiffany & Co.

Exclusive “Mystery Rose” Giveaway was co-hosted with Harper’s Bazaar.
