Roosevelt Field to Welcome More Exclusive Brands in 2016

Tory Burch, Robin’s Jean, Suitsupply, JACHS New York and Zero Halliburton among the retail concepts making their Long Island debut

Garden City, NY (JANUARY 2016) Roosevelt Field, one of the country’s leading retail properties, is kicking off 2016 by announcing six more retailers slated to join the iconic property’s retail mix in its brand-new two-level expansion wing. This will be anchored by Long Island’s first Neiman Marcus, opening on February 19.

“We are thrilled to begin 2016 by introducing our shoppers to unique stores they will not be able to find anywhere else on Long Island,” said Eric Sadi, Simon senior vice president of leasing. “These additions will enhance the existing collection of retailer’s already open in the Neiman Marcus wing and provide our guests with leading brands representing a global mix of lifestyle luxury.”

Among the retailers announced today for Roosevelt Field and slated to open with Neiman Marcus are:

  • Tory Burch – Launched in February 2004, Tory Burch is an American lifestyle brand that embodies the personal style and sensibility of its chairman, CEO and designer, Tory Burch. The sought-after collection includes shoes, handbags, accessories, jewelry, home, beauty and cosmetics, all of which will be featured in a 2,400 square-foot location at Roosevelt Field.  
  • Robin’s Jean – Started in 2005 by Lyon, France native designer Robin Chretien, Robin’s Jean is inspired by its founder’s love of living in America, a passion for the open road and the big sky. The brand seeks to be comfortable, relaxed, and carefree and includes jeans, jackets, shirts, shoes, accessories and hats for both men and women. Parents will find jeans for children, too. The 1,394 square-foot location is Robin’s Jeans first on Long Island and joins its store in Soho and a handful of locations in the US, as well as a presence in authorized retailers.
  • Suitsupply -- Long Island men seeking a refined and effortless look will find it at Suitsupply. Known for combining exquisite craftsmanship with flair, its products reflect a pioneering spirit that is seen in its dapper collection of men’s suits and casual wear, jackets, trousers, shirts, ties, shoes and accessories. Founded in Amsterdam in 2000 and with 60 stores worldwide, including Soho and Madison Avenue.  The 3,620 square-foot Roosevelt Field location marks Suitsupply’s first store on Long Island.
     
  • JACHS New York – JACHS New York was founded in 2008 with the philosophy that artistry and intricate attention to detail should make clothing effortless to wear. Its fabrics are designed to make the most unique, comfortable and wearable apparel, footwear, bags and accessories for men and women. The opening of an 856 square-foot store at Roosevelt Field marks its first on Long Island, joining its Manhattan flagship and product availability in high-end department and specialty stores.
  • Zero Halliburton – Zero Halliburton began by creating the first aluminum travel cases in 1938. The essence of the company is defined by its contemporary design and unsurpassed quality, all of which meet exacting military specifications. From a series of lightweight attaches and travel cases to the advanced wheel luggage systems, Zero Halliburton has products fitting the needs of today’s travelers including briefcases, laptop/tabloid cases, garment bags, luggage, purses, backpacks, camera cases and accessories. Its first US flagship store opened in New York City in 2013 and the 858 square-foot Roosevelt Field location marks its first mall store and first store on Long Island.
  • TUMI, now open – Since its founding in 1975, TUMI's commitment to design excellence, functional superiority and technical innovation has made it the brand of choice for the world's most discerning and demanding consumers. It is the leading international brand of luxury travel, with award-winning products ranging from luggage, business cases and handbags to wallets, writing instruments and watches. An existing retailer at Roosevelt Field, TUMI has relocated to a 1,200 square-foot space in the Neiman Marcus wing.  

These announcements come on the heels of recent openings last month of lifestyle brands MCM and Dune London and luxury optical retailer L’Grand Optical. In 2015 leading retailers kate spade new york, Jo Malone London, Furla, The FRYE Company, Jonathan Adler, Montblanc, Allen Edmonds and Le Pain Quotidien all opened in the Neiman Marcus wing at Roosevelt Field.
