Enhancement Project To Commence at Ingram Park Mall

Substantial Upgrades Planned to Elevate Customer Experience

San Antonio, TX (October 2016) – Simon, a global leader in retail real estate, today announced a significant interior and exterior renovation of Ingram Park Mall. Scheduled to commence in mid-October, the improvements will create a brighter, more inviting atmosphere inside the center.

During the renovation, Ingram Park Mall will be modernized throughout with a timeless color palette and clean architectural lines. Additional plans include:

  • Reimagined mall entrances featuring fresh Simon branding, illuminated canopy and new sliding doors.
  • Expanded Food Court with an added mall entrance into the space and neutral tile in light tones. Both existing restrooms located in the Food Court will also be remodeled to complement the renovated area.
  • Six new seating lounges throughout the interior of the property featuring mobile device charging stations and upgraded furniture, giving shoppers the opportunity to relax and recharge in a comfortable space during shopping breaks.
  • Four additional food kiosks to better serve customers.
  • An exterior seating area featuring updated and enhanced landscaping.
  • Improved LED lighting throughout the center’s interior and exterior.
  • Updated tile on the lower level and new carpet and railings throughout the upper level.
  • New, state-of-the-art children’s play area located on the lower level near the food court.
  • Updated way-finding signage to further assist shoppers in locating stores and restaurants.
  • Relocation of the Mall Management Office to the first level near AT&T.

Construction activity is expected to be complete by late 2017. The property and its retailers will remain open and operating throughout the project. The architects on this project are RSP Architects, Ltd., and the General Contractor is VCC.
