This Holiday, Simon Malls, Mills, and Premium Outlets have developed multi-faceted marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales conversions to our brands and retailers through:

  • High impact creative assets featuring compelling storytelling across multiple channels.
  • Targeted media strategy to promote each of the centers, their brands and their holiday offerings.
  • Experiential activations and events to create a festive and fun holiday environment.
  • Services and amenities to make shopping easy and convenient.

Simon Malls Holiday Advertising

Simon Malls invites shoppers to "Discover Joy" this holiday season with a custom video running across paid digital and social media channels, in addition to streaming radio, Simon-owned digital and on-mall advertising. An influencer marketing and PR campaign will further amplify our holiday storytelling.

Our holiday video celebrates our community focused malls with a touching montage of random acts of kindness between shoppers. With its pay-it-forward story line, we feature a wide range of shoppers embracing the holiday spirit.

Simon Premium Outlets Holiday Advertising

Simon Premium Outlets will run a national television campaign, alongside a digital/social video campaign. The hero video features out talent picking out gifts for everyone on her list, including herself, and underscores the vast selection of gifts available at up to 65% off.

 

In addition, two sales promotions will run during the Holiday season, supported by both paid and owned media:

Simon Mills Holiday Advertising

There’s no better time than the Holidays to remind shoppers that Simon Mills centers are an ideal destination to get gifts for everyone on their list. A radio campaign will feature a whimsy take on "Jingle Bells" to encourage shoppers to dash through their list in a one stop kind of day while saving all the way. An animated video will be featured on social and digital to further reinforce the message.

 

In addition, Mills centers will run "The Nifty Gifty Pre-Sale", November 1-17, including special retail offers. The sale will be supported with paid media, direct mail, Simon owned digital and a printed holiday shopping guide.

Experiential Initiatives

Shopper experiences are an important part of all Holiday visits to Simon Malls, Mills, and Premium Outlets. Our robust calendar of programming will encourage visits, create a festive atmosphere, enhance the overall experience and create connections with the community.

Santa Photo

A Holiday tradition, Santa photos will be available at 125 Simon centers. Many centers will also host Caring Santa and Pet Photo events. In addition, shoppers are able to skip the line and reserve a FastPass at simonsanta.com.

Disney Junior Play Dates

As part of a national partnership with Disney Junior, 100+ properties will host a Disney Junior Play Date through the months of November and December. This holiday themed interactive event targets families with young children and will feature a holiday themed craft, music, entertainment, face painting, photo booth, snacks and giveaways.

Signature Events

Centers host special events such as Tree Lightings, Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Spectaculars throughout the holiday season. In addition, centers offer engaging community activities such as Angel/Giving Trees, Toy Drives and Community Concerts.

Amenities designed for convenience will enhance the holiday shopping experience, including:

Extended Mall Hours - All centers offer extended holiday hours throughout the holiday season with select centers open on Thanksgiving Day.

Holiday Services & Amenities – Guests will continue to enjoy the myriad of amenities offered at many of our centers - comfortable soft seating, charging stations, play areas, wheelchairs, coat and package check, valet parking, holiday gift wrap stations, random surprise and delight treats, and more!

At select Simon centers, customers can enjoy services provided by MyPark, Dropit and Happy Returns.
