Simon is again using video as the hero creative asset for the 2018 Holiday season. Each Simon platform (Malls, Mills, Premium Outlets) will run custom videos across paid digital and social media channels, in addition to streaming radio, print, OOH and television (Premium Outlets only). The campaigns will be further amplified through Simon-owned digital and on-mall channels, public relations, and influencer marketing efforts.

In celebration of our community focused malls, this touching montage brings together random acts of kindness between shoppers. With its pay-it-forward story line, we feature a wide range of shoppers embracing the holiday spirit with a call to action to "gift it".
Simon Premium Outlets
To underscore the vast selection of holiday gifts at up to 65% off, Simon Premium Outlets is launching a comical holiday TV commercial and series of social videos that capture light hearted exchanges as our featured talent shops for everyone on her list, including herself.
There’s no better time than the Holidays to remind shoppers to discover what’s new and invite them to experience all the shopping, dining and fun the Mills have to offer through a “magical adventure” that encourages shoppers to Discover, Gift & Delight.
Shopper experiences are an important part of all Holiday visits to Simon Malls, Mills, and Premium Outlets. Our robust calendar of programming will encourage visits, create a festive atmosphere, enhance the overall experience and create connections with the community.
A Holiday tradition, Santa photos will be avaialable at 126 Simon centers. Many centers will also host Caring Santa and Pet Photo events. In addition, shoppers are able to skip the line and reserve a FastPass at simonsanta.com.
Disney Junior Playdates
As part of a national partnership with Disney Junior, 100+ properties will host a Disney Junior Playdate in the month of December. This holiday themed interactive event targets families with young children and will feature a holiday themed craft, music, entertainment, face painting, photo booth, snacks and giveaways
National Cookie Day
In celebration of National Cookie Day on December 4, 130 Simon Malls and Mills will help customers to get into the holiday spirit with complimentary cookies.
Centers host special events such as Tree Lightings, Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Spectaculars throughout the holiday season. In addition, many centers have a Giving Tree.
Premium Outlets Ultimate Holiday Outlet Sale
69 Premium Outlets will promote The Ultimate Holiday Sale from Dec 7- Dec 24. The sale will feature a gift guide with the best promotional offers of the season, gift giving inspiration and an early shop offer for VIP Club Members. This 360°marketing promotion includes paid media, boosted social posts, an online/digital campaign, and extensive on-mall assets.
Customer Experience Enhancements
Amenities designed for convenience will enhance the holiday shopping experience, including:
Simon Giftcards - Available at Simon Guest Services and/or Mall Management offices. Select centers will continue to offer shoppers an opportunity to place their orders and return for pick up when the order is complete.
Surprise & Delight – Guests visiting Simon properties will be randomly treated to bottled water, hot chocolate and other treats as they interact with the Guest Services teams, Ambassadors, or Holiday Greeters.
The Simon Facebook Messenger Bot - Our fun Santa git guide has been refreshed for Holiday 2018 and will continue to delight shoppers. The Bot will help shoppers find the right store for the perfect gift based upon who they are shopping for.
